Ways to Give to CTK
Focus on The Future Capital Campaign
A capital campaign is designed to raise funds for new construction, renovations, and technology upgrades over a designated period of time. Most recently, CTK has renovated 9,000 square feet and added a media facility with a state of the art technology center, a dedicated science lab and broadcasting studio. As the final phase to this project, CTK is tackling the challenge of installing Smart Board technology with integrated broadcasting ability in every classroom. With this cutting edge educational upgrade, we will continue to give our students the skills they need for the 21st century and beyond. Gift naming opportunities are available and pledges may be spread over a period of time.
Annual Alumni Giving Campaign
This new fundraising drive, as the name implies, will be conducted annually beginning in October 2007 and concluding at the fiscal year end in June. All of the funds collected go directly to the operating budget. Support of this campaign is critical as tuition does not fully cover the operating expenses of the school.
Special Events
The two largest fundraising events of the year are the CTK Annual Auction in November and the Cougar Classic Golf Tournament in May. Parent volunteers and alumni, along with Development Office staff spend many months organizing both events. Proceeds from both events go to the Focus on the Future Building Campaign.
Matching Gifts
Gifts to Christ the King may be doubled or even tripled through matching gifts. Many companies match gifts made by employees. Please check with your employer to see if this is offered. Forms are usually available in the personnel office.
Unrestricted Gifts
Possibly the most important funds we receive, these funds enable our administration to respond to needs as they arise. Income from unrestricted gifts is distributed at the discretion of the Administration and can therefore be directed to the most current need or project.
Restricted Gifts
The donor specifies a particular area that their gift be designated to. Funds can be designated for building enhancement and expansion, scholarships, equipment and faculty support.
Planned Giving
Planned giving offers a donor the opportunity to support CTK with a deferred gift. Trusts, bequests, life insurance, retirement plans, and contributions made through a donor’s estate are all vehicles for such giving. Please see your tax advisor for more information about the tax benefits that accompany this type of giving.
Named Scholarship Funds
An incredible way to make an impact on a child's life is to give them a Christ the King Education. If you are interested in establishing a named scholarship to honor a loved one and to change a child's life, please call the Development Department at 625-4951.
